These are our current initiatives running across Uganda. Each program is designed for maximum impact and sustainability.
We are building our very own HIAN Charity Foundation Orphanage Home — a safe, loving, and permanent shelter for orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda. Currently, we care for children placed in temporary foster arrangements and rented facilities. This orphanage will provide dormitories, a kitchen and dining hall, sanitation facilities, a sick bay, and learning spaces — giving children a true home where they can grow, heal, and build their futures with dignity and stability.

Our flagship program connects orphaned and vulnerable children with compassionate sponsors worldwide. Each sponsorship covers school fees, uniforms, books, daily meals, and regular health check-ups. We currently have 452+ children enrolled, with many more on the waiting list hoping for a sponsor.
Period poverty remains one of the leading causes of school dropout among girls in Uganda. Our campaign distributes reusable sanitary pad kits (lasting 12+ months), conducts puberty education workshops, and works to break the cultural stigma around menstruation. Every kit keeps a girl in school with dignity.
No child can learn on an empty stomach. Our school feeding program provides daily nutritious breakfast and lunch to children in partner schools. We source food locally, supporting farmers while ensuring children receive balanced meals. This program has significantly improved attendance and academic performance.
Combating deforestation and building climate resilience one tree at a time. Our campaign mobilizes community volunteers, schools, and local leaders to plant indigenous and fruit trees. Each tree helps restore ecosystems, provides food, and creates a greener future for Uganda's next generation.
Bringing healthcare directly to remote communities that lack access to medical facilities. Our mobile medical camps provide free check-ups, vaccinations, malaria testing and treatment, maternal health services, and health education. We partner with local health professionals to ensure quality care reaches those who need it most.
Equipping youth and women with practical, marketable skills for employment and entrepreneurship. Our training covers tailoring, carpentry, computer literacy, soap making, and small business management. Graduates receive startup kits or micro-grants to launch their own businesses and become self-reliant.
