We address multiple challenges simultaneously because poverty is interconnected. Explore our six core program areas.
Home › What We Do
At HIAN Charity Foundation, we believe that poverty is not a single issue — it's a web of interconnected challenges. A child who is hungry cannot learn. A girl without menstrual products misses school. A family without healthcare cannot work. A community affected by climate change cannot grow food. That's why we tackle multiple challenges simultaneously, creating holistic solutions that break the cycle of poverty for good.

Providing tuition, uniforms, books, and mentorship to orphaned and vulnerable children in Wakiso, Mbale, Kampala, and beyond. We keep kids in school and reduce dropout rates through comprehensive support that removes barriers to education.
Distributing reusable sanitary pads, conducting puberty education, and breaking the stigma around menstruation. Over 4,200 girls now stay in school during their periods with dignity and confidence.
School feeding programs, emergency food distribution, kitchen garden training, and nutrition workshops. No child should have to learn on an empty stomach, and no family should go hungry.
Medical camps, vaccination drives, malaria prevention, and hygiene promotion reaching remote villages in Busabala and surrounding areas. We bring healthcare closer to those who need it most.
Tree planting campaigns, environmental education, and sustainable agriculture training to combat deforestation and climate change effects. Building a greener, more resilient Uganda for future generations.
Vocational training, micro-grants, and savings groups helping families start small businesses and achieve self-reliance. We equip communities with skills and resources to build sustainable futures.
Your contribution can help us expand these programs and reach more communities in need across Uganda.
