How can I volunteer with HIAN Charity Foundation in Uganda?

You can volunteer by filling out our online application form below, selecting your area of interest. We welcome both local Ugandan volunteers and international volunteers. What volunteer opportunities are available?

HCF offers volunteer roles in Education (teaching, tutoring, mentoring children), Healthcare (supporting medical camps, health education), Environmental Action (tree planting, conservation education), Community Development (vocational training, women's empowerment), and Hiacart Support (helping our social enterprise). Both short-term and long-term opportunities available.

Do I need special qualifications to volunteer?

Most volunteer roles do not require specific qualifications — just passion, commitment, and a desire to help. For medical volunteers, relevant healthcare training is preferred. For teaching volunteers, experience working with children is helpful but not required. We provide orientation and support for all volunteers.

Is there a cost to volunteer with HCF?

There is no fee to volunteer with HIAN Charity Foundation. Local volunteers can participate at no cost. International volunteers are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and living expenses. We can help arrange affordable accommodation near our project sites.
